New York, NY, January 10, 2013 – With an exciting new team, merger and vision in place, PROJECT is pleased to introduce its newest edition, PROJECT NYC, taking place at Pier 92 on January 21, 22 and 23.
Conceived by PROJECT President Tommy Fazio, this season’s iteration of PROJECT NYC will bring to life his creative vision and merchandising expertise at this new, highly-anticipated show.
“I’m inspired by the opportunity to introduce new talent to the contemporary market while also encouraging a meaningful conversation between brands, retailers and industry insiders,” says Fazio. “We are witnessing an incredible moment in fashion and PROJECT is truly reflective of that.”
This winter edition will focus on a Nordic, ski lodge theme and will unveil new show initiatives and merchandising, all envisioned by Fazio and his team.
Moving the show to Pier 92 from its previous location at 82 Mercer Street in Soho, was one of Fazio’s first steps in creating the most compelling menswear show in the marketplace. Hosting PROJECT at Pier 92 will not only serve as a more central meeting place, but will also offer more space and merchandising options to participating brands.
As the leading contemporary fashion event, PROJECT has established itself as an innovative show that highlights premium brands while implementing cutting-edge initiatives. With leading brands added to its roster, such as Raleigh Denim, Rodd & Gunn and Grayers, and the recent acquisition of ENK by Advanstar Global LLC, PROJECT NYC looks forward to building upon its success by showcasing inspiring brands in an exciting, directional format.
